What an auspicious way to start a blog ! My first post and that too about an art which i am passionate about!!
It all began at 10.30 A.M on saturday,27th Feb.Our Organization had planned for a small party-sharty which was to be held in the evening after 5.30..Last minute arrangements were being looked after,people running here and there, In short, it was hub of activities..Achanak somebody came up with an idea that we should perform something..( as if we were not doing anything else...)and then the chaos started..:)
we spent precisely 15 minutes in selecting a song & assembling people but the main question was where to practice? Now, how we solved that problem is another story for another day....!!
Finally, the practice began and within record time ( i.e. precisely 5 hours) we were ready with our performance..But how can everything run smoothly in my life???? the main organizer coyly informed that the player which contractor had got for us is not working..so we will have to carry our own laptop..okay..strike one...!
we worked on this unexpected hurdle,only to be questioned with next..! the whole sequence of events kind of went haywire due to the extended ragging session..( ya we still do that in our office..!) After much cajoling and Emotional blackmailing we managed to squeeze our performance towards end of the day!!
And people ..believe me...i really felt all alive when i was dancing,,i always knew i enjoy a dance but experienced it again after a long long gap....its like you feel you are a free bird in sky ,flying higher and higher with widespread wings...Felt really really great..all thanks to people who came up with the idea and to others who seemed to enjoy it...
just got a beautiful saying on net which i think sums up things!!
